News Update Pre-Harvest 2006

Welcome to the latest edition of the Monxton Messenger. Despite the uncertainty within the agricultural industry, the early part of 2006 has produced good enquiries across our whole range of equipment. Order levels for Svegma driers, Skandia Handling and Bentall-Rowland Silos are pleasing, along with increased interest in our Mill and Mix range of products.

May brought the Pig and Poultry Fair at Stoneleigh, two days of promising enquiries and it was good to hear some positive comments about the industry.

Following this on 14th and 15th June is Cereals 2006. We will not be exhibiting in the post-harvest area, but are on stand 713 located near the machinery demonstration plots and the AGCO stand.

At Cereals we will take the opportunity to launch three new products.

  • The first is a range of mobile driers made by Agrex, available as PTO or electric drive with gas or diesel fired burners. Agrex offer a range of six driers all featuring external recycling for easy access and maintenance, along with an integral internal agitator to guarantee uniform crop mixing and complete emptying at the end of the drying cycle.

  • The second is a new range of Rapeseed presses made by BT BIO. Five models are available with oil outputs from 2.5 litres per hour from the Type 30 up to 35 litres per hour from the Type 100. All models are available with an integral cleaning unit and a maximum of three presses can be run from one cleaner.

  • And finally the new Air Tunnel from Bentall Rowland’s, incorporating the latest design techniques, to provide an improved and cost effective tunnel.

As well as these new products we will be exhibiting equipment from our full range of drying, handling, storage and aeration equipment, including the now established and popular Grain Butler, a true portable stirrer

A Type 50 Rape press will be running both days at Cereals 2006, so come and visit us on Stand 713 to find out all the facts and see the options available for pressing oil seeds.
